Overview
One of Mahindra’s tough, all-purpose SUVs, the Bolero has long been a favorite in semi-urban and rural India. The 2025 edition maintains the rugged, no-nonsense persona while making a few minor adjustments to be current. Although it isn’t a luxury cruiser, it is designed to be strong, practical, and to function effectively in challenging driving and usage circumstances.
Engine & Performance
- The 1.5-liter diesel engine (mHawk75) powers the Bolero 2025.
- In the lower revband (about 1600–2200 rpm), the three-cylinder diesel engine produces 210 Nm of torque and approximately 74.96 bhp at 3600 rpm.
- There is only a 5-speed manual transmission. No automatic choice as of yet. In keeping with the Bolero’s conventional setup, rear-wheel drive is also included.
Fuel Efficiency / Mileage
Traffic, road quality, load, and other factors all affect how many kilometers you’ll get per liter, however these are the stated/observed figures:

Variants And Colour
Variants
The 2025 Bolero comes in three variants:
- B4 (base)
- B6 (mid)
- B6 Opt (B6(O).
As you progress from B4 to B6 to B6 Opt, the features increase, including some creature comforts, body-colored ORVMs, decals, and better grille treatments. However, functionality comes before luxury in this case.
Colours

- Digital instrument cluster / MID (for speed, trip, mileage etc.).
- Basic audio includes Bluetooth, USB, and AUX on a single DIN system. The regular Bolero does not have a large touchscreen.
- Safety features include two front airbags, ABS, and standard alerts (such as seat belts and speed warnings).
Expected EMI Plans

- In many cities, the Bolero is already on the market and for sale.
- Early in 2025, a facelifted and improved Bolero Neo model is rumored to be coming with additional features, potentially AMT, finer interiors, etc. Sometimes waiting helps if you don’t need the functionality right now. However, the Bolero 2025 is a good SUV if you need one right now.
